About the Author

Robert F. Dorr is an Air Force veteran (1957—60) who served in Korea, a retired senior American diplomat (1964—89), and an author who has produced more than sixty books on air operations and military history. He writes a column for Air Force Times newspaper and speaks to military and civilian groups. Bob Dorr lives in Oakton, Virginia, with his family and Labrador retriever.
