About the Author

Born near Richmond, Virginia, Margaret Edmiston studied graduate psychology at Columbia University, and later received her MA. in mathematics from West Georgia College. Following a long career in consumer marketing research, she now pursues writing, puzzle- making, and teaching mathematics. A longtime contributor to puzzle magazines she has a continuing interest in writing for children and finds special joy and fulfillment in teaching mathematics as a member of the adjunct faculty of Virginia Commonwealth University.
