About the Author

Talat Rahim was born in Karachi. She started writing when still in school and was editor of her school and college magazine. She studied at St. Joseph's Convent School and College. She went on to do her Masters from Karachi University and won the coveted Gold Medal in Mass Communications. Talat has worked as director in Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and in the Export Promotion Bureau (now TDAP). While at work Talat continued to write for daily Dawn Sunday Magazine and Newsline Magazine. She held the position of secretary general English Speaking Union of Pakistan for almost a decade. Talat has a passion for good English quotes and Urdu verses of renowned poets.
