Munawar Iqbal is Chief of Research in Islamic Banking and Finance at the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is author, editor or co-editor of numerous books, the most recent being Islamic Banking and Finance: New Perspectives on Profit-Sharing and Risk (Edward Elgar, 2002) and Islamic Banking and Finance: Current Developments in Theory and Practice (Islamic Foundation, 2001).Rodney Wilson is Professor of Economics at the University of Durham.
