About the Author

Dushka Saiyid is an Associate Professor at the Department of History, Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, where she has taught since 1979. She was educated at the London School of Economics and Columbia University, New York. Her publications include Exporting Communism to India: Why Moscow Failed.
