About the Author

Colin Lankshear was formerly Professor in Language and Literacy Education at Queensland University of Technology and is now a freelance writer, educational researcher and teacher residing in Mexico City. He is author of many books on literacy and technology including Changing Literacies (Open University Press 1997).
