About the Author

Joseph Runzo is Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Chapman University and Life Fellow of Clare Hall, Cambridge University. The recipient of five Fellowships and Awards from the National Endowment for the Humanities, he has published widely in philosophy and theology on issues of religious pluralism and religious ethics.NANCY M. MARTIN is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Chapman University The recipient of a Graves Award for the Humanities, her research has involved extensive fieldwork in Rajasthan, and she is an acknowledged expert on devotional Hinduism and the religious lives of women.
